MCM Consultants has been working with the Independence Visitor Center Corporation, IVCC, for several years. MCM designed and managed the complete renovation of the administrative office space. The IVCC wish list included the need for a conference room, two additional private offices, a break room and an inviting reception space within the existing office footprint. They were also looking to upgrade the lighting in their 10 year old office space to more energy efficient fixtures. By creatively repositioning an access hallway, MCM was able to accomplish all of IVCC’s additional space requirements as well as a brighter color palette with new paint, carpet tiles and LED lighting . The entire renovation was done by phasing in new areas with no down time for the staff and was completed on schedule and within budget.
MCM is currently working with IVCC to manage a RACP funded energy improvement project, which encompasses upgrades to the entire 50,000 square foot building.
Testimonial: “The Independence Visitor Center retained MCM Consultants to design and manage all aspects of our office renovation project. The project included State funding with very specific provisions that had to be followed. Mary Claire did an outstanding job for us. The design met our needs perfectly and she brought the project in right on schedule and under budget, with all State requirements being met. We plan on using MCM Consultants for future projects and I highly recommend them.”
